STEM Education represents more than the subjects in the acronym. It encourages an interdisciplinary approach based on real-world application of the technical subjects. In an era where technical and scientific skills are increasingly important in the workforce, exposing children to STEM learning in the early years is key. Our program is designed for children from 8 to 15 years old. It is important to help instill an attitude of inquiry from an early age. Children are naturally curious about their world, give their plenty of opportunities to explore and to examine.

The future workforce is about learning the right skills to survive and succeed in the workplace. They need to be extremely adaptive to the fast-changing environment. They need to learn new skills in a very fast pace.

Education may be the passport to the future, but for all the good teaching out there.

It would seem that schools are failing to impart some of the most important life skills, according to one educational expert.

Dr. Tony Wagner, co-director of Harvard's Change Leadership Group, argues that today’s school children are facing a “global achievement gap”, which is the gap between what even the best schools are teaching and the skills young people need to learn.

In STEM Academy, we create our syllabus based on the above guidelines, implementing the creative course outlines and standards. We then certified the kids with the U.S. based certification programme to determine their learning outcome.

STEM Academy is the 1st Creative Engineering School for children aged 8-15 in Malaysia.
